About the Role

We are looking for warm, welcoming, and professional Greeters / Help Desk Personnel to join our customer service team. The ideal candidates will be the first point of contact for visitors, guests, or clients — creating a positive first impression and providing helpful information or assistance as needed.
You will play a key role in ensuring visitors feel valued, supported, and guided from the moment they arrive.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent; higher qualifications are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or reception roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Neat, professional appearance and courteous behavior.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, or database systems).
  • Ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of the event
  • Check in attendees, verify registrations, and distribute badges or materials
  • Answer guest questions regarding schedules, locations, speakers, or services
  • Direct attendees to event areas such as registration, seating, restrooms, or exhibits
  • Staff the help desk and handle general inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with crowd flow and queue management during peak times
  • Support event organizers with basic administrative tasks as needed
  • Handle lost & found items and report issues to event supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional help desk area
  • Escalate special requests or concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times to ensure a smooth guest experience
